The former president's Family Member Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star boasts impressive online audience
The young golfer will have multiple high-profile cheerleaders when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.
"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we have competitive games," she stated.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa practically advised me to go out there and have fun," she continued.
"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."
While still amateur, the golfer has played in only three events in 2024 and holds the 461st position in AJGA listings.
But she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai expressed.
"And he's an even better human being. He advised me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge multiple the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai exposes the sport to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.
The young star maintains substantial online presence and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
